Pangle

This Guideline will instruct you step-by-step on how to set Pangle live as an ad network on the AdTiming Mediation platform.

Before You Start

Make sure you have correctly integrated AdTiming's Rewarded Video, Interstitial Ads into your application.

Important! The ADAPTERS for ad networks are modularized, which means that you need to download Not Only the SDK of mediation networks  you choose to work with But Also the adapters for those ad networks. Be sure to follow this Guide to mediation Pangle's Ads.

Step 1. Create an Pangle Account

  1. Create an account with Pangle. You can do so here.
  2. Once your account has been verified, you can login at their partner login here.

Step 2. Create an Application in Pangle

1. Once you log in, add an app by clicking 'Application' and select '+  Add APP'.

2. Define the details of your application.

  • Category – Application Type.
  • App Name – Enter a custom name for your application.

Step 3. Add a Placement

1. Select the application you created, and select 'Add Ad Placement'.

2. Select Interstitial, Rewarded Video or Native as your ad unit format.

3. Enter the name and description for this placement and Click 'Submit'.

  • Orientation – Ad display style.
  • Ad Placement – Enter a custom name for your placement.

Step 4. Configure Pangle’s Parameters into AdTiming Account

1. Once you have both of these parameters, log in to your AdTiming account and go to Placement ->Edit your placement 

2. Click on Instances-> Add Instance. Select Pangle from the list of Available Ad Networks, click 'New Account'

 3. Complete the following parameters below,and click 'Save'.

Step 5. Add the Pangle SDK&Adapter to Your Build

Android

1. Add the Pangle SDK

  • Add the following in your project-level build.gradle file.
allprojects {
repositories {
maven {
url "https://dl.adtiming.com/android-sdk"
}
}
}
  • Add to your application-level build.gradle file.
depedencies {
    implementation 'com.bytedance.sdk:openadsdk:2.1.5.0@aar'
}

2. Add the Pangle Adapter

     AdTiming supports both Gradle dependencies and Manual download mechanisms.

       Gradle dependencies

  • Add the following in your project-level build.gradle file.
allprojects {
repositories {
jcenter()
maven {
url "https://dl.adtiming.com/android-sdk"
}
}
}
  • Add the following in your application-level build.gradle file.
 implementation 'com.adtiming.adapters:tiktok:3.0.1@aar'

       Manual download

  • Download the Pangle Adapter from here.
  • Add the Pangle Adapter to Your Project
    Move the TikTokAdapter-x.x.x.aar to the libs folder in your Android Project.
  • Make sure you add the following to your Gradle build file under the dependencies section:
implementation (name:'TikTokAdapter-x.x.x', ext:'aar')

3. Update AndroidManifest.xml

  • Configure Android Manifest.xml to add permissions.

<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" />

4. For Proguard Users Only

If you are using ProGuard with the Pangle adapter, you must add the following code to your ProGuard configuration (Android Studio: proguard-rules.pro or Eclipse: proguard-project.txt):

-keep public class com.bytedance.sdk.openadsdk.*{ public *; }

 

Done!
You are now all set to deliver Pangle Ads within your application.
